Arlene coaches clients on how to find job opportunities, build resumes, define personal brands online and offline, prepare for interviews, and develop networking and salary negotiation strategies.
In addition, Arlene works with companies to provide Corporate Outplacement Services. With one-on-one coaching, she develops personalized strategies to achieve career success, addresses employee concerns, counsels them on next steps, and focuses their efforts on executing successful job search campaigns.
Arlene’s extensive career development experience includes creating talent acquisition processes for start-up organizations, recruiting and hiring hundreds of talented employees, and training leaders and decision-makers on interview techniques.
As a former Adjunct Professor at Baruch College, teaching Recruiting and Interviewing for 9 years, Arlene is a guest lecturer at several major universities such as Columbia, NYU, Wharton, and Georgetown. She also presents career workshops for the NYC Bar Association, Law Firms, and various Human Resource groups.
Arlene served as President of the NYC Society of Human Resource Management (NYC SHRM) for a 3-year term, and for several years served on the Board of Directors of this nearly 2,000-member chapter. Currently, Arlene is on the Leadership Council and Chairs the Professional Development Group.
Belinda Block is a Business Psychologist with over 25 years of providing businesses with solutions for learning and development. Belinda has worked in industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Biotech, and Pharmaceuticals, and worked with small and large companies including Citigroup, Merck, Bristol-Myers Squibb, AllState, Prudential, and PayPal.
Over the past 11 years, Belinda has been an independent practitioner focusing on executive coaching, assessment for selection and development, and talent management. As Head of Coaching at UBS Wealth Management Americas, Belinda oversaw the development and execution of the coaching program involving 53 coaches across the country.
Prior to joining UBS, Belinda was Director of HR Strategy at Citigroup’s Global Wealth Management. Earlier at Citigroup, Belinda was Director of Senior Manager Development, where she was responsible for implementing the first corporate-wide development program for the top 3,000 and top 30,000 managers at Citigroup across 103 countries in 17 languages. She also served as Director of Executive Development and Leadership and Professional Development at Prudential Securities.
Belinda was awarded her Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Graduate Center and University Center of the City University of New York and a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.
